Patients must have a BMI over 30, or a BMI over 27 with at least one confirmed weight-related health condition (e.g. high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, PCOS, or sleep apnoea).
Prescriptions cannot be issued unless these criteria are met, and all prescriptions are at the discretion of the treating doctor following a clinical assessment.

If you are prescribed a medication for treatment, you can start straight away. You will be provided with an eScript to take to a pharmacy of your choice, or we can deliver the medication to you.
