All online medical certificates are reviewed and certified by Australian based doctors who are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
InstantScripts is registered with the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) and a Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) CPD provider.

InstantScripts does not offer free online medical certificates. Our certificates are priced at $19 making them cheaper than most in-person GPs.
All InstantScripts medical certificates are signed and dated by Australian-registered doctors and are valid for work, school, or carers leave, as per Australian standards. They each contain a unique QR code which ensures they can be validated by employers or schools.
Unfortunately, we do not offer bulk-billed medical certificates due to Australian regulations. However, our single-day medical certificates are priced at $19 which is generally cheaper than an in-person GP visit after a Medicare rebate.
We endeavour to get to your request as soon as possible however all of our medical certificate requests are reviewed by an Australian-registered doctor and assessed based on the answers to your online form. If approved by the consulting doctor, most certificates are issued and sent to your email and phone within minutes of your consultation. The doctor may request a call if they require further information.
Our online Medical Certificates can only be issued for the day that it is requested. Our doctors cannot backdate the date that the certificate is issued.
However, the doctor may consider providing a certificate to cover a specified time period that you have been unwell for, via a Telehealth Consultation.
Our online Medical Certificates are issued for the same day that it is requested on and can only be issued for a single day.
For multi-day medical certificates, you will need to request a consultation with one of our Australian-registered doctors.
Our doctors cannot backdate a Medical Certificate. The issued date on the certificate will be the date of the consultation. The duration of the medical certificate is up to the discretion of the consulting doctor.
