One of our Australian-registered online doctors will call you to discuss your concerns or medical condition. You can also request a medical certificate online and any specialist referrals, which are all included in the cost of the call.

If a prescription is issued, an e-script will be sent to your phone or email and you can take it to any pharmacy of your choice. We will also email you a medical certificate or referral if deemed appropriate by the doctor.
Most patients use our online doctor service when they’re feeling unwell or need general medical advice. Through a single online doctor consultation, you can also request a doctor certificate online, prescriptions, or specialist referrals — all at no additional cost. A telehealth consultation is a secure phone or video appointment with an Australian-registered, online doctor. You can speak about any medical concern, just like you would in a face-to-face visit. Access via your mobile, tablet or desktop device at any time of the day.
During your online doctor consultation, your doctor may provide medical advice, an online script, a doctor’s certificate online, pathology or specialist referrals. These will only be issued if your doctor believes they are clinically necessary.

We offer flat-fee pricing that’s often more affordable than out-of-pocket costs through Medicare.
Due to government rules, online doctor consultations cannot be claimed through Medicare unless you’ve had an in-person appointment with the same provider in the past 12 months.
Yes. Every InstantScripts online doctor is AHPRA-registered, insured, and based in Australia. They meet the same clinical standards as your regular GP. If a prescription is issued, it will include your doctor’s full details, including their prescriber number.
