Our large team of Australian-registered doctors work seven days a week and we take great care in providing the highest quality of service to all communities.

At InstantScripts, we take pride in our clinical governance system, ensuring that our doctors deliver the highest standard of care to our patients. Our bi-monthly clinical governance meetings report to the Clinical Governance Committee and is overseen by Wesfarmers Health. These provide a platform for continuous improvement and collaboration.

Currently we are undergoing ACHS accreditation and we are committed to surpassing the standards set out by AHPRA for Telehealth in Australia. Every consultation on our platform undergoes thorough auditing by our dedicated Director of Compliance and team of Senior Doctors, guaranteeing the utmost quality of care.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a provider number registered under InstantScripts?

Yes, you will need a provider number registered to InstantScripts.

Your provider number is used for pathology and imaging to allow the services to return
information to the correct doctor. Unfortunately, we are unable to allow you to commence
working with us till you have this.

Do you provide bulk billing services?

We are a private clinic and do not bulk bill with the exception of Mental Health Care Plans to
support people in more remote communities or with limited access.

If you are a vocationally registered doctor and not under a moratorium, you will be able to
consult for Mental Health Care Plans.

Do I need an InstantScripts specific eRx ID?

Yes, this has to match our software, you cannot use an eRx from another clinic. This is a requirement before starting with our team. We will assist you by setting this up.

What do doctors get paid?

Doctors are paid a percentage of the consultation fee. The prices of our consultations vary as does
the percentage paid to doctors. Our doctors are paid higher than the industry average for
consultations.

What hours are you open?

Our operational hours are 6am – midnight AWST. Effectively this means if you are working from
the east coast of Australia we are open 6am – 2am AEST.

Are you involved with the CPD points program?

Yes. We are working with RACGP to provide our Doctors with the ability to obtain CPD points
when completing some of our online training modules.

How does the roster work?

We set the rosters 4 weeks in advance, with a minimum requirement to work 10 hours/week.

Our rostering team will work closely with you to help ensure you are getting enough hours when
you need them whilst achieving the balance you require to fulfil other commitments.

Can I work overseas for InstantScripts?

No, unfortunately we do not permit our team of doctors to be working overseas. You must be based in Australia and possess full working rights.
